STORY: A UK-based politician of Indian origin, Karan Khanna (Shivam Bhaargava), is charged with the murder of his wife. But, his lawyer-turned-lover Simran (Sanaya Irani) has a hard time proving his innocence in the court of law as Khanna is adamant that his wife had lost her life at the hands of an evil spirit.

REVIEW: A booming political career, plush cars, a fancy apartment and a convenience-based marriage – everything seems to be hunky-dory in young politician Karan Khanna’s life, who has high aspirations from the upcoming UK elections. But, his life – personal and otherwise – comes crumbling down when his wife is murdered one fateful night and he is the prime suspect in the case. Karan has to prove his innocence by virtue of ‘the spirit possession theory’, with the help of a lawyer, who seems to have deep-rooted psychological issues of her own. The odds are stacked against him and that forms the crux of this film’s story.

The story is set in London (making this horror flick visually appealing) with wealthy NRIs at the centre of a gruesome homicide case. But, just when you start to buy into the idea that the sequences in the screenplay are actually taking the plot forward, the quintessential paranormal set-pieces kick in.
